Helpful Hints

Students:

I know almost all of you have heard me say this numerous times through the year. The biggest helpful piece of advice in preparing for quizzes, tests, etc... is to review over your notes EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! Even if you have nothing due in class the next day, it ALWAYS helps to spend even just 10 minutes per class reviewing over notes. The more times you read it, the better it will sink in.

Also, it is very helpful if you outline your readings. You could simply do this by buying a small pad of Post-It notes and putting it on a paragraph with a small note of why it's important. This will help you out a great deal!

Also, if you know for a fact that your teacher has his quizzes over worksheets or says that "this will be on the test!", study those things! You can study for those way in advance before the test even comes. This way, you'll be a bit more prepared when it comes time to start really studying hard for the exam!

Update!

After talking with a few parents, I will now have this site updated by the end of the school day on Fridays. It was brought to my attention that some of you would like to see what you have lined up for the following week over the weekend so you can plan accordingly. Not a problem! Starting tomorrow, I will be updating on Friday afternoons. Again, plans tend to change throughout the week, so make sure you check the site everyday as I will make the changes accordingly.

Also, please note that I do not post every single due date on the site. For example, I do not post what math problems are due each day. Mrs. Esker provides a sheet to you so you know what problems are due when.

Thanks!

Miss Runde
